On July 25, at Liuzhou Luorong Automobile Logistics Base, new cars on double-decker specialized trains headed for Zhengzhou, Henan. On the other side of the base, containers fully loaded with automotive parts were being lifted by cranes and transported via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor’s sea-rail intermodal train to Qinzhou Port for further export to Jakarta Port, Indonesia.
Guangxi’s Liuzhou serves as a national hub for automotive parts, production, exports, and industry demonstration. All vehicles transported by CR-Nanning originate from this region. Among them, the Liuzhou Luorong Automobile Logistics Base stands as Guangxi’s premier comprehensive railway logistics facility dedicated to the automotive industry. It boasts various functions such as loading, unloading, warehousing, trans-shipment, and distribution, with an annual capacity of sending over 100,000 vehicles. According to Zhang Tao, Deputy Director of the Marketing Department at Liuzhou Freight Center, the region’s exported vehicles primarily reach South America and Southeast Asia. South America receives complete vehicle exports, while Southeast Asia receives new energy automotive parts exports.
